The Campania Region presents the First Exhibition of the Intangible Heritage of Campania, organized in collaboration with Scabec, to be held from 5 to 7 December at NEXT (Nuova Esposizione Ex Tabacchificio) in Capaccio Paestum.

There are 13 sites and elements listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list, making Campania one of the Italian regions with the highest number of recognized heritages. In addition to these, there are 124 elements constituting the so-called Intangible Heritage, which the Campania Region has gathered in the Campanian Cultural Heritage Inventory, according to the following categories:
Knowledge – artistic and handicraft productions
Celebrations – rituals and festivals
Expressions – music, expressive media, artistic performances
Agri-food culture – rural, gastronomic and oenological practices

The Exhibition is promoted by the Campania Region in application of Article 28 of the Regional Law of 29 December 2022, no.18 (“Provisions for the formation of the financial forecast for the three-year period 2023-2025 of the Campania Region – Regional Stability Law 2023”), and organized by Scabec, in collaboration with the Province of Salerno, the Municipality of Capaccio Paestum and the Union of Municipalities Paestum Alto Cilento.
